Hamilton Aquatics swimmers returned with a tally of 14 medals at the recently concluded English Short Course Nationals. The 3-day competition was held at the Ponds Forge International Centre in Sheffield where our swimmers competed against Olympic medalists and top swimmers from Great Britain, Ireland and Canada.
Apart from a commendable medal tally, Hamilton Aquatics swimmers also achieved huge PB’s while progressing to the Open A & B finals of the meet.
Our Director of Swimming Ash Morris said; “This was a very good meet for our swimmers and a perfect platform to build our season on. Our swimmers showed good skills when racing and competed against some tough international competition - I am very proud of them”
The medals were split into Senior (16/over) and Junior (15/under). The relays were open, with our young team holding their own and winning medals in the team events.
